Well I finally have two complete turbos, one of my intercoolers, and I placed an order for all of the oil lines, fittings, and flanges that I'll need for them. I positioned the turbos where I want them, and it seems like this is going to turn into a bigger PITA than I thought Theres still a few more things I have to do to the car to get it ready... Need to find out what I'm going to do with the A/C lines. Give me some encouragment to help me through all of this Money is also nice too Heres some pictures I took today of the basic position they are going to be in.. might be facing a different way once its completed. If your feeling generous, I'll give ya my address if you want to send money or parts my way

You should mount the passenger side turbo just like my HP kit, and the exact opposite on the driver side, then have the downpipes go under the headers and out the back. The big reason i like this style is that you dont have a dp in the way of the spark plugs and wires to change, either way good luck and hang in there.

Money... getting a big single turbo would have costed me more than going with two smaller ones.

I am so damn jealous. That looks great. How much did all that cost? And I know this is a weird question but how old are you?

Yup, I'm 18 and still in highschool... Guess thats why I can afford some of the stuff I have

Right now I have about $360 invested in this project so far. I still need some exhaust pipe, oil lines, one more intercooler, MAF, and injectors then I should be set to go so I'm going to be looking at around ~$1260 total for the whole project.

Blowers
-seem much simpler to install
-get to keep your exhuast instead of selling it all off at 1/2 f what u paid
-More low-end torque for daily driving
-cheaper (kits)
just a few thoughts.....

i like s/c's better too. I like turbos, but good grief, what a pain in the ass. Slapping a procharger on is way easier in my opinion

If you bought a kit, it takes only a few hours. I put my hot side piping in in 1 hour. Intercooler took an hour to mount, and cold side about 1 hour. Very easy IMO. Making a kit on the other hand is a different story.

You guys are crazy, no way your gonna make a sc sound better then a turbo!

Civic, if your buying new, the kits are very close is price range. Do some research and you'll see. Pay close attention to all the things that come with turbo kits.

More low end torque? Maybe a kennbell but thats it! With all things being equal, put a turbo settup against any blower settup at the same PSI and see who wins Reason enough for me!

I understand a turbo vs a supercharger is a no brainer race, but I can pick up a used setup for under 2k....I dont see any turbo setups for that.....I am sure the bolt on kits (turbos) are simple to install but I am talking about homade....
I was under the impression that a turbo (single) is gonna have low end lag where as a supercharger there isnt that was my reasoning for the torqu claim...
