Dont worry Im not going turbo, Im happy w/ what I have and for some odd reason you dont see many Paxton Novi 2000's around here. I dont know why there such awesome blowers, guess people think S/C and go right to vortech.

Novi's are the ****...I think it's price is why Vortechs are more common. Your 2000 is a much better blower than my S-Trim...hands down.

Turbo's are cool, just too much time to invest for me. I'll probably stick with a nice, piece of cake, bolt on, blower With more turbo's in the future I'll be more likely to find a cheap used blower

THanks, Mine wasent all that much more then a simmilar Vortech. It was $3,342 shipped and polished. Hopefully in a yr or 2 I'll have a low compression 331 in there to help wake that blower up. Theres so much untapped power in it b/c of the stock cam and heads.

I want to do something liek this eventually with a stock cam and throw an insanly tall gear in there liek a 3.27 or 3.08

so what do you have in the way of tuning/?

is your distributor locked out?

can we see yoru curve? i would really liketo take a gander at where it makes full boost and taht torque curve

I saw your build-up on tm.com, cool to see you over here also.

Striped..I hear yah, maybe its the used price then (mine) 1700$ complete S-Trim, powerpipe, inj, maf, and tb.

Turbo is the better poweradder, I have thought about it myself...then I think..I can make the same power with a blower (plus on a stock block we are all sitting ducks)
When i break down and get a REAL block....then maybe MUWWHAHAHAHAHA

I should have gone with one in the first place and saved all the damn time, stress and $$.
It's kinda all good though b/c I was able to exp n2o, an S-Trim , a KB and now a bad ass TURBO soon. I have a feeling I will stay with the turbo for my combo.

For some of you who asked questions. The car has the base computer settings in it, there is NO TUNNING, boost was about 8-9psi, and the timming was at 16* spout pulled. This friday i'll be getting the car tuned this friday but it will be on a mustang dyno rather than a dynojet as these numbers were from.

The kit is from HP Performance, it is the base kit with a Holset 60-1, intercooler and piping. Other mods to the car are edelbrock performer rpm heads, intake, stock cam, probe flat-top pistons 9.4:1 compression. Other mods are of course 42# injectors, pro-m univer mass air, 70mm throttle body, tremec tk600 trans, spec stage3 clutch, 3.27 gears, moser axles, eaton posi 31spline rearend. Those are the basics, but pretty much nothing in the drive train is from the factory.
