Ok, so this happened just recently, and randomly.

Well, first off, I think my turn signal stopped turning itself off for the right signal.. so I'd have to turn it off manually, left worked fine.

But now, the right turn signal won't even go.. I push the turn signal lever up, and I can't even get it to click in place to blink.. what's the problem with it?

I'm thinking it's the turn signal cam, but I could be horribly wrong. Left still works fine, but the right one won't do anything.

Try the obvious, both front and back turn signal bulbs and the can that plugs into the fuse panel under the dash.

Nono, it's not a bulb issue. It's the fact that I can't lift the turn signal handle up enough to get it actually start signaling to turn right.

It's like there's something pushing against the turn signal handle.

Sounds to me like the nylon/plastic "tang" that allows the signal switch to cancel for the right side has broken and fallen down to where it prevents the moving portion of the switch assembly from moving far enough to close the circuit.

The tang is at 12:00 and 6:00 in this pic

Yeah , it is a cam issue. Time to yank the wheel. it has been a very long time since I have replaced one. Amazing for a plastic part inside a column how long they last. HHHMMMMMM , then again alot of people don't use em any more turn signals that is.
