Engine TURNING ENGINE BY HAND

When i turn the engine by hand i can only go one way and when i go the other way it gets stuck and wont turn 89 ford mustang 5.0 gt H.O

Which way you turning it? (Not that it really matters)

Why when i put water in my radiator it pours out of my tail pipe i mean in and out

If this issue has not been fixed your engine may be hydro-locked, you have a blown head gasket or a cracked block, intake/gasket issue and a cylinder has filled with coolant, pull the plugs and as you crank the engine coolant may spray out so be careful.

Pull the plugs and it should be able to go both ways pretty easily. With the plugs in, compression is going to stop it from turning unless you are he-man. I believe one way will be easier than the other due to the way the valves are opening/closing and trapping air in the cylinder
