Turning problem

When I do a turn at a low speed, the car jumps quite a bit and makes like a little noise from the back I was thinking maybe its normal for these cars, the noise from the back makes me think there is something loose in there, also when I do a tight turn, like entering a driveway then I heard this little ping just when I turn slowly. Anyways its probably nothing hehe, I'm just wondering if its normal.

No, it's not normal. If the rear is jumping in a turn it probably means the differential isn't unlocking (if you have a Traction Lok or ofther LSD) or it means the car has a spool back there.

Well I am pretty sure it was doing it before the catback was installed, I'll go check just to make sure, anyways I'm getting it serviced this weekend so I'll mention it to them.

Edit: When I say that it jumps its like you know when you dont give enough gas to a 5spd or when your a beginner at it, its a little like that, just that I dont use the clutch for it its already in gear.

Do you have a Detroit locker or something like that?

I dont even know what a detroit locker is so probably not.

Also when its really hot outside, the car doesn't respond right away when I accelerate, its just from about 1.2-1.6rpm, is that normal also or does something just need an adjustment ?
