I have looked around a little on these, but did not find the answers I wanted.

Can this system be used to get a 4cyl computer to run a v8? Of course the correct wiring would need to be there. I did read that you need to input the # of cyl when setting up the Tweecer, how flexible is this?

Can a knock sensor be set up with a car/computer that did not have one from the factory? This would be of use when adding boost to an n/a car.

My applications are going to be the 408w in the sig plus centrifugal boost, and a 2.3L LX setup for open road tracks, which may end up with turbo boost.

Any advice/links would be greatly appreciated.

No... you cannot use the Tweecer to put a 4 cylinder computer in control of an 8 cylinder motor.

Yes... You can add a knock sensor to virtually any car whether it's intigrated with the computer or not. For forced induction, a computer integrated knock sensor is not usually desireable as it often pulls too much timing out when under boost. My suggestion would be to use the knock sensor to trigger an indicator light on your dash board to assist you in tuning and as a safe guard against detonation. This would also not be a function of the tweecer.
