ok, i am looking into getting the tweecer RT and obviously on their website all you hear and see is good things about it, but i was wondering if anyone on here has it and if it works as well as they say it does? (is it worth $550). Also, does it have to stay on the EEC itself, or do u only use it to tune it, then take it off? In other words, could i use it to do tunes on my friends cars as well or just mine? If so, would it work on newer EEC's? Obviously it works on EECIV but will it work on EECV and some of the other models such as my moms 03 explorer or my brothers 99 cobra?

Do a thread search for tweecer. Much of what you're asking was recently covered in another thread. It can only be used on one car at a time and you can only tune the car that it is installed on. Once you remove the tweecer, you'll be back to your stock computer. It does NOT reprogram or burn your computer. Rather, it makes changes to the data going into and coming out of your factory computer.

To the best of my knowledge, this is the only product that can be used to reprogram an SD car.

Noooooooooo. There are lots of them out there. Many can be had with newer Bar Map sensors that will handle both Vac and Boost readings. If I had nothing but money, I'd be putting some of it into the AEM system. Damned nice system with lots of versatility and supposedly relatively easy to program. It's a whopping $1600 though. *choke*

Funanin,

Yes, I have one on my NA 306. Without it my idle surged like crazy and didn't have full power. After tweeking and using a wide band AFR meter it now runs great with max power. The down side is that you must study study and study to learn how to use it. It is a large investment in time and $ but I think it is worth it because it solved all my driveability and power issues, of course with my help and documentation of others.

Good Luck, Don
