Ok well im thinking about getting a tweecer so i can just tune my car when i want and how i want. But a few questions, first where do i buy one. Second, do i have to have a lap top to work it or can i use a desk top computer and last question, how much does it cost? I think i read once that there are two different versions. Thanks

You can go the the tweecer website for places to buy from. www.tweecer.com

You can tune with a desktop but you will not be able to datalog (unless you buy one hellova long ext. cord ). FWIW you can buy a cheapo basic laptop on ebay preaty cheap...like under 200$, that way the girls can play solitare while your talking cars at a cruise night .

There are 2 diff. versions of the tweecer. The base tweece and the tweecerR/T the base does not have the ability to datalog, and is kinda like tuning with your hands behind your back IMHO. The R/T model has the ability to datalog. If you did buy or find a non-R/T model you can send it in to be upgraded in the future (and you will prob. find yourself wanting to upgrade). Base is like 350-ish and the R/T is like 550-ish. Also good luck finding a used one much cheaper as they tend to resale (for those that do resell theirs) for about 50 or so $$$ less and they sell within what seems like min., might was well start off new.

Go to www.wildhorseauto.com and ask about the promotional. Stangnet members get a $10 rebate on the RT, plus no shipping charge for a total of $540 shipped.

If your willing to take your time, take baby steps, and realize you will not learn it overnight its not too bad. It has its ups and downs but still way cool.

I tend to pick up on things preaty quickly though.
