I tune my 1988 LX with a Tweecer RT. I bought it because it was cheap, can run speed density (kind of), and I didn’t really need to change a lot of parameters (I had to end up changing a lot more than I thought…) because my combo is so mild.
I like it, but the thing I really hate is how freaking buggy the software is. Its un-real, to change a value in my WOT Fuel Multiplier table I have to click a cell, type in the new number, click into a different cell, click back to the original cell, then save, otherwise it erases the changes you make. That is just one of the MANY quirks. I have heard you can get other software for it (like BE) that improves it, but I have not tried it.
The fact is that it works, while it does have a steep learning curve (especially because of its quirks), the resolution isn’t great (it’s limited to stock), etc. but it does work.
