twisted wedge heads,valve guide probs?

i am thinking of picking up a set of heads that are about 4 years old(but still new in the box).when did trick flow resolve that problem?i dont want to get them if im gonna smoke valve guides in 10k.this is my daily driver.ive done a search and came up with nothing.

I thought the problem was in the mid 90s? I would call trickflow and talk to them. I also thought it was on their iron heads...

Not sure when they resolved the issue.

Had about a 1/2 a dozen friends that had that same problem though.

We used to call them "Stick Shift Valves" cause the valveguides would wear out and the valves moved around a lot.

Call Summit and ask them. They should know. They own TFS.

I think if they have cast iron guides they were the old style.
