i haven't been on in a really long time, i've been extremely busy at work, i co-own a body shop now. I still have my car, it's been on the back burner/parked for the better part of the year, but i plan on two toning it over the winter. only problem is, i can't decide what color i want on the bottom side! top half is staying black. do you guys have any pics or a link to a thread with two tone pics? thanks!

You just can't beat all black. Tint the windows and call it a day. Love it the way it is. If I could have my all black 87 GT back I would for sure.

Kind of generic, but Im thinking some type of silver/pewter is the only thing that works well with black on a two tone car. Would you paint match your rims to go with the bottom half, or leave them black?

It's only an inch or two. What's the big deal?

Car is sweet. Two toning it would just eff it up, tint the windows as mentioned and spend the money on go fast stuff.

My car is currently two tone, white/silver...see picture to left.

I'm getting it painted back to the original white with black belt molding just because I can't stand the two tone paint.

I wouldn't do it if I were you. Car looks tits as it is. That being said, it's your car so do what makes you tick. Silver or dark grey would probably be best as has already been said.

I had an 89 gt black w/ grey lower. I'll look for some pics.
I like the all black look you have now, but to each his own!

I really miss my old 89lx black with tinted windows and centerline convo-pros(if anyone can remember those wheels) but that was nearly 20 years ago. Damn I'm old
