Typhoon Intake?

On a 302 with ported GT-40P's and an X-cam? Full exhaust, etc......

Its got a Cobra intake on it, but I was wondering if I would benefit from a cleaned up Typhoon.

I dont think that it would hurt your car at all. What other matching parts do you have??? gears, t-body, etc etc?

edit: just saw you had full exhaust. what year is your car? you might wanna do a bigger MAF and t-body before swapping intakes.

a cleaned up typhoon would be better then the cobra, the typhoon is a performer knock-off it should flow the same as the performer. Also a Mass air meter and 70mm tb should be in the works.

Typhoon would be an improvement if only for the fact it does not have the dog legged 1 and 5 runners, but it also has a larger cross sectional area in all the runners = greater flow potential.

Thanks guys, I know its a Chinese rip off of the Edlebrock. If I had the money, I'd get an Eddy, but man $259 is hard to beat lol. I know that its gonna need some clean up work. When I do it, I'll probably have the heads slightly ported, and I'll have the Typhoon cleaned up and port matched. I'll probably go ahead and get a C&L 73 or 76 combo, and a MAC 70 or 75mm TB.
