that intake does work well, fuel rail fitment was a little rough though. made good power on a h/c/i 302 we did.

That intake will give you more room to gain from other mods later on like a set of heads etc.. it'll work just as good as an explorer intake on your car as well plus it's pretty damn cheap. Only thing i've heard bad about them are that some people had the intake ports cleaned up a bit from weld flash but other then i've heard nothing but good. I personally have used trickflow and holley's intakes and really am happy with them

I havn't had any experiance with them but the people I know all say that the ports did not line up well and needed to be port matched and cleaned up a good amount, but they all liked the intake overall. Basically they don't have a (perfect casting) like others.

Professional products have really proven that their stuff isnt cheesy at all,and is always cheaper than others. I have their blue fuel rail kit that i bought new for $200 cant beat that compared to aeromotive which is over $300 i believe.

Im running one right now on my HCI 302. Its working pretty good. But its coming off this weekend to switch back to a cobra.

The only problem I see with it is the dizzy hit on the upper.

Half the crap you have in your house are Chinese knockoffs ftl.... Anyways, my friend spent a little bit of time on them with a dremel tool, and still runs it for over 6 years now.

there was one on my car when i bought it. no major complaints. the PO had taken a die grinder and cleaned it up. you dont have to port it, just clean up some casting flash. im happy with it. one of the mustangs did a comparo, it beat our a ported cobra intake...

i have on on my car and it works great, i got it used so i never got to see how bad the casting flash really was b/c the PO already cleaned it up.

performs great but i wont lie it is alot cheaper quality then a good edelbrock or TFS intake.

i had issues with the back of the dizzy hitting the runners, and the corner of the TFI module hitting the hump near the water neck (most good intakes have a small dimple for the clearance, this didnt). no big deal a little touch up n the plastic with a small grinder gave me the clearance i needed. other than that it works great.

also to note, i have seen pics of the newer manifolds and i saw the dimple. so maybe PP adressed these issues.

Think so? And fwiw, nothing on my car is a chinese knockoff.. But i'm sure it's all good. Let me know how that chinese milk works out for you.

Oh yeah, and remember who put the r&d into that intake. When edelbrock has to compete against third world laborers and stops making intakes, thank yourself that there is no cheap copy available.

The intake itself doesn't bother me so much as the seller does. RPMOutlet has a horrible reputation for piss poor customer service, not having parts that they say they do in stock and slllllowwwww shipping.

That would be enough for me to take a pass right there!

I dunno....They build some damn good guns. Chinese steel FTW.

Not to mention I've had some pretty crappy American made auto parts (Mac, Racers Choice, BBK) that have as poor quality as any foreign parts that I've bought.....and they still cost twice as much!

I didn't have a problem with BBK. I haven't tried any of the other brands you listed. I just hope people realise that buying Professional Products intakes, they are putting Edelbrock out of business. Edelbrock put in the time and money to do the research on that intake. PPI sent it over to china to get a cheap clone. Hence the ports don't match. But hey, knock yourself out. this is the reason I have trick flow heads, not Patriot heads.

As far as american parts, what kind of luck have you had with edelbrock, trick flow, afr?

Well, it would bring those prices down. I just find the argument of "chinese knockoff" silly since just about every product you buy is a knockoff. That chinese milk is just fine...how about that kool aid?

BEIJING, China (CNN) -- Officials on Monday announced the death of a second child who consumed contaminated milk powder. More than 1,200 others have been sickened, according to China's Health Ministry.

Of that number, 340 infants are hospitalized and 53 are considered to be in serious condition.

Well, I don't have children yet, but let me know how that chinese milk works out for YOUR kids. And I'd rather pay a little more to the person that designed the intake and can help me than someone who got sweatshop workers to copy it.
How's YOUR koolaid?
