I have flow tested and ported every intake mentioned in this thread. The quality of the casting of the PP is not as good as an American casting and the metalurgy is not the same. The quality of all the Chinese castings (Cobra replica included) seems to be improving with time. Once ported by a pro, there is no difference in a GT40 family intake and a Typhoon with regard to power potential.
oh ok. so should i just stick with my cobra intake and get it ported? would that be better than getting the typhoon?
That is a decision you'll have to make for yourself - but performance wise, I don't think you'll be truly disspaointed in either one.

Yeah, Chris over at EECTuning mentioned that you were out of commision - I was searching for it too - are you planning on getting it back up with another provider?
