How is it making it look good? It clearly states they did not do the testing, and that the trickflow intake produced better top-end. It is just showing the fact that for a street car that won't rev past 5800 it is a good intake for the money.
I have flow tested and ported every intake mentioned in this thread. The quality of the casting of the PP is not as good as an American casting and the metalurgy is not the same. The quality of all the Chinese castings (Cobra replica included) seems to be improving with time. Once ported by a pro, there is no difference in a GT40 family intake and a Typhoon with regard to power potential.

oh ok. so should i just stick with my cobra intake and get it ported? would that be better than getting the typhoon?

That is a decision you'll have to make for yourself - but performance wise, I don't think you'll be truly disspaointed in either one.

Where is the link for your website with all the intake info on it? I have been looking for it for a couple days now.

my webmaster/site host lost his business and the site had to come down.
Yeah, Chris over at EECTuning mentioned that you were out of commision - I was searching for it too - are you planning on getting it back up with another provider?

agreed took me over 2 months to get the correct tuner for my truckThe intake itself doesn't bother me so much as the seller does. RPMOutlet has a horrible reputation for piss poor customer service, not having parts that they say they do in stock and slllllowwwww shipping.[/B]
That would be enough for me to take a pass right there!
I dunno....They build some damn good guns. Chinese steel FTW.
Not to mention I've had some pretty crappy American made auto parts (Mac, Racers Choice, BBK) that have as poor quality as any foreign parts that I've bought.....and they still cost twice as much!
