I have an alarm on my car that I would like to take off. It is really more of a pain than it is a help. It almost always beeps and is driving me crazy. The only good thing about it is that it has keyless entry, but I can live without it. Does anyone know a typical electrical schematic for an alarm?
I believe it is a Fail Safe since it says so on the keyring. it has 3 settings, off, on, and sensitive. Even the "off" feature makes noise anytime a door is opened, or the hatch. Therefore I know there is wiring going to each door and the hatch. It doesn't make any noise for opening the hood, but there is a little spring cylinder thing under there too, so I am guessing it just doesn't work.
Anyone have any experience with taking out alarms that could give me some help? Any help you could give would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris
