Resolved HELP! - 1992 5.0 Canadian with DRL - need electrical schematic drawing

I'm new to this forum and have no idea how to use it, but I'll try.

I just had new LED headlights installed in place of original headlights which were quite dim. But now my interior dash high beam signal doesn't work when the car is running. All the lights work but just not the high beam interior blue light.

I bought my 1992 new in Canada and am now told that because Canadian Mustangs had to have DRL module, that may be the problem. Can anyone help me to figure out how to get the dash high beam indicator to work? Can anyone send me the Canadian version of the electrical system that I ca give the automotive guys that put the new lights in. Only advice they gave is to gorget about the blue light interior indicator, which I don't want to do without if I don't have to.

ANY help will be most appreciated. :)

LEDs use significantly less power than incandescent bulbs to produce the same amount of light, which can sometimes be too low for a car's dashboard system to recognize properly.

Adding external Resistors usually fixes it

Also, I'm trying to keep the car as close to original as possible. So I'm wondering if it would have been better to just put in better/brighter halogen versus LED lights? And, if so, would that avoid the dashboard high beam signal issue?

I think either the resistor or switch back to halogens is the fix. Don't forget DRL is high beam with half the power applied. When you have LEDs they don't use enough power (compared to halogens) so the rest of the high beam circuit uses it - the high beam indicator. The resistor should consume enough of the excess power to keep the indicator light off.
