Is anyone running a professional products typhoon intake manifold? Is it just as good as the edelbrock? I heard its identical, but does it fit good, is the casting good quality?
its not a bad manifold for the price. ports need cleaned up a little out of the box, they are a little rough. other than that ive had it on the 89 for 2 years and it works great.
Like mine, did have to clean up the ports (seems to be the norm). Not hard to install. $200.00 might be a little high. A mechanic could probably do this swap in a couple hours. I don't know, I guess 200 isn't that bad.
Installing an intake is not very hard especially with all the help you can get from here if you can turn a wrench you can do it. I think it takes me about 2.5 hours.
