Uh oh, Am I in Trouble?!?!?! This SUCKS

So im routing the oil feed line and everything is going ok until this. I was trying to get that elbow to face up so it doesnt kit the coolant hose. I didnt even turn the thing that hard when this happened

AM i screwed? If i cant fix this myself i think i may have to unbolt this thing cause it just sucked the money out of me. Ill just box it up and a few months till i got the funds to finish it. Any ideas? These are new oil lines and fittings but they did NOT send me a new one of the things that broke even though i asked to send ANY oil related component, paid a nice 455 for that too. What can I do??

the bronze peice in my hand snapped off of the bronze peice thats in the blower, that hooks to the oil line which t's into where the oil sender was. see the alternator? see the L shaped bracket? its right behind that.

Not good. Your going to have to find a way to get that out and Id call the company and see if you can get a new fitting.

greeeeaaaaat......any suggestions? its proably going to be hard to find that peice im guessing since i called vortech and told them I needed everything but the headunit/discharge and intake tube/bypass valve/fmu/tensioner and the MSD. that peice that broke was one of the few peices i did get from the guy i bought this from.

if you need suggestions on getting the rest out, i might be able to help. im assuming you wont be using that bastard anymore, so try this:

Put jb weld on the end of a screw driver and hold it down in the middle of that piece for a couple minutes, then begin to unscrew it. it should come out. then again, pending on how hard you torqued that beast, its not going to work. yeah, you definently want to get a new one asap.

Was it threaded in? If so... can you take off the front side of the SC? I had a fitting break off inside my block... I thought I was screwed but my dad had this bit that you use a wrench with, it grabs ahold of the piece and lets you take it out. Lookes like a cone with spirals going down it... Worked great.

that bit 1105 is talking about is called an "e-z out"
they do come in handy

edit: most harware stores have them, they come in diffent sizes, sometimes a kit

Yep, an e-z out, or since its brass, you may be able to set a large flat screwdriver on it and give it 1 good wack with a hammer to make a groove, then screw it out.

what might help you is put a screw or bolt that would fit in the hole and braze or weld the bolt in there if you can and turn the bolt and the fitting should come out

I sort of had the same thing happen to me except it was in my tee fitting for my feed line and OP sender near my oil filter. I tried a round e-z-out and it just spun around in there. Took the t fitting into a hardware store and they got it out with a square e-z-out. I'd say if you got the right size square e-z-out, you should be able to get that puppy out of there.
