Uh oh, broke something in my suspension..

Well, tonight after i got off work i noticed my car was sitting at an angle, the driver rear side was sagging down some and the passenger rear side was sitting up a little higher than it normally does. Well. as i was drivin home i noticed when id hit a bump id hear what sounded like somethign clanking coming from the driver side wheel.

My first thought was their must be something wrong with my spring on the rear driver side, but the more i thought about it the more i got to thinking that its gotta be damn near impossible to mess up a spring. What do you guys think? Any ideas?

you make have broken a spring, not the first time i've heard of it.

when i pulled my front spring of the cobra it was broke, never noticed. it happens.

I didn't notice it sittig any different, but I broke the rear sway bar on a 97 cobra and didn't know it. I hear the same clanking noise, which was the broke end of the sway bar banging against the bottom of the car.
