Okay this is my first time pulling codes and my first time diagnosing problems. I noticed my car felt sluggish so I Pulled codes and got this:

KOEO

33 (rc*): Insufficient EGR flow detected.

15 (o): PCM ROM test failure- failure is internal to PCM. (c) PCM KAM (Keep Alive RAM Memory) failure.

/// IM SCARED ^^

54 (orc*): ACT (Air Charge Temperature)/IAT (Intake Air Temperature) sensor voltage too high, indidcating -40degF. Suspect shorted sensor, harness.

KOER

53 (orc*): TP sensor voltage too high (indicates WOT condition). Suspect shorted TP sensor, harness.

66 (rc*): MAF (2.3 Turbo, VAF) below minimum test voltage.

32 (orc): EVP or PFE voltage below closed limit.

Guys, I have no clue what to do and need all the help I can get. I'm going to clean my MAF and IAC as a start. I don't know what else to do. Please guys...

Thanks.

Damn dude, that's a lot of codes. Fortunately, a lot of your sensors are linked together, meaning one bad sensor can throw a few different ones out of whack.

FWIW, I had that same ACT/IAT sensor code the other day, my sensor had backed out of the inlet tube most of the way. I threaded it all the way back in, cleared the codes and it hasn't been back since.

I'd clean all your sensors, IAT, MAF, TPS. Then see what happens. As for that PCM ROM failure, I have no idea what that could be, but it doesn't sound good. Good luck bud, free bump.

Chris, were you getting 3 digit codes when you did yours?
I had mentioned to Synned before that the two digit codes did not sound right (maybe I am wrong though. ). I thought perhaps a PIH retroversion had been done, but he is pretty sure it has not (he knows the pedigree of the car pretty well). I cant figure out why there are 2 digit codes though.

Hrmm, now I am realllly confused. I was almost positive that the codes were 2 digit, followed by longer gaps. Maybe I'll take a digital video of it and post as to make sure I'm not going crazy. I'll go pull them again but does anyone have any suggestions? BTW I cleaned MAF and it feels a lot better. Also, is the ACT on the throttle body?

it is in the left side of the intake tube before the throttle body.

No, I get 3-digit codes. I just saw a code for the IAT that said the same thing mine did (157), and assumed it was the same one. Didn't even notice his were 2-digit, that is strange.

Yeah, you need to run the test again......but this time, remember that the codes are 3 digits.

First thing that happens is a strange flicker, then it will flash your engine code (half of the number of cylinders you have, i.e. 3 for v6 and 4 for V8).

Then you have to give it the test unputs. Depress the brake, turn the steering wheel, and cycle the overdrive (if auto). I think there is something else, but I can't remember.

Follow the instructions in the haynes manual and it will guide you. Also, remember that there is a .5-1 sec gap between flashes that are still the same digit, 2 second for the next digit in the code, and I think 4 for the next code.

And each code will be repeated twice, so you will see something like 114, 332, 998, 114, 332, 998.
