70 vert once again you are quite welcome, let me know how you like that piece. last i heard he was unable to find a car to test it on so he was rushing to get his done so he could test it on his car. also he is trying to get it ready for the big show in phoenix, i beleive.

70 Vert, will that crossmember work with your rack kit?? The randalls kit replaces the crossmember with the rack bracket.

it should work fine, Randall modifies his rack so the tie rods are behind the rack like a TCP rack and the stock mustang steering is similar in that the tie rods are behind the center link. the speed direct rack is different in that it is a stock unmodified rack with tie rods attached in front of the rack, thereby allowing use of the stock (or in this case, the CA) crossmember. he shouldn't have any probs at all using it. and it will help keep the alignment in place in hard driving

It fits forward of the rack, which has no control arm crossmember

They had it in stock that day, bnickel, so apparently it's in regular production. I'll let them know how it works, but it's highly unscientific, as I have a lot of changes made at one time. If I'm cornering hard and one tire hits a bump or pothole, I suppose that's where I'd see the diff. most.

It's not a CA car originally, but it does have a crossmember from one frame rail to another. This would link up both control arms/mounts. It looks like there's room just behind the control arms, though it appears it could mount in front as well but that would limit my oil pan choices I think.

duh, did you mean Control Arm or CAlifornia?

I was wondering what CA meant and what weird california regulation would require a crossmember. you probably meant control arm.

dolfan, looks incredible. The Edelbrocks are definitely the way to go.
