Ummm....what does your PCV valve look like?

I went to Advance today to buy a new PCV valve and the one they gave me looks different then the one in my car. The new one has 2 vacuam fittings and is metal while my old one has only 1 fitting and is plastic. Which is the good one? If the new one is, where does the second vacuam fitting go?

Yep - the parts store stuff is generic for more applications. The Motorcraft valve will come with the two fittings and a cap for the smaller fitting.

If it's easier, you can break the plastic duel outlet fitting off most aftermarket PCV valves, which leaves you with one metal port sticking straight up. This works well for foxes and might be easier for some SN applications too (I considered doing it but had a wire loom above the PCV valve that would have interfered.

Good luck.
