Now we all know the mustang is one of the most popular cars if not the most popular car in America,

How come I haven’t seen the new Mustang in movies yet, it’s a popular car that has been out for almost a year plus Hollywood has access to things before they become public, ive seen many cars shown in movies before they are released to the public or at least when they first come out. Now my question is why haven’t I seen it in a movie yet, maybe someone else did. (please point out any movie with an 05 Mustang) Ford should have given some to be used for movies also as a form off advertising.

Why aren’t there many die-cast models for the new mustang, I only found two limited production die-casts for +$60 why aren’t there the normal priced one u can find in a toys are us, I have the concept 05 mustang, but I want a production die-cast, you know every kid and adult wants one.

There's a couple Transformers mustangs. Movies usually take well over a year from start to finish, and Ford (for whatever reason) may not have wanted to release a car early. Maybe there's no big movies coming out that it'd fit well in. Bruce Wayne wouldn't be caught dead in anything that cost less than 100K. At any rate, it'll pop up in a movie, but I have the real thing, so I'm livin the movie everyday!

There's been several 2005 Mustangs used in television already.

Jennifer Garner was driving an 05 GT on Alias.

An 05 Mustang was part of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition as a gift.

Several other instances I can't think of right now.

Manufacturers PAY to have their cars in movies. Unless the story line requires a specific automobile they usually go with the highest bidder.

Ford doesn't need to pay movie producers to sell the Mustang.

(Maybe Pontiac should pay someone to get the GTO in a few movies. Sorry DocGTO... couldn't resist )

I've seen the GT on those Armor All commercials, but they've removed the Pony emblem from the grille when they show the entire car at the end of the commercial.
