Ok, so I have owned my 91' 5.0 GT for about 1 1/2 yrs. Had a blast with it since. But now it's time to take the insurence off and fix a couple things. First off, I pritty much bought the car with all the goodies that it has on it. (GT-40 intake, 75mm throttle body & egr plate, Comp Cam(dont know spects), Tremec trans, and under drive pulleys) Now on to my main question....Ever since I bought the car the power steering pump has acted up. It keeps blowing the fluid out under the hood. I have replaced the pump once allready, along with the hoses. I thought that would fix it....but now this one is doing the same. Now what I was wondering is would the under drive pulleys be messing with how many revolutions the pump is being turned, and if so could that burn up the power steering pump? Now this may be a noob question, but I have no idea if you get a new pulley for the power steering pump when you buy an under drive pulley kit.

Thanks for any help

Underdrive pulleys replace the crank, water pump and alternator pulleys. I assume it would also slow down the power steering pump a little bit.....I personally didn't notice a difference in the steering but I sure noticed a difference in engine power.
