I'm scraping the undercoating off my 65 to weld in some patches and was wondering, did they come that way or was this just added on later by someone? This isn't going to be a daily driver so I wasn't planning on spraying more on unless there's a particularly good reason

There was some, such as on the inside of the front fender and rear wheelhouse, as a sound deadener more than anything else.

I was kind of wondering about the sound deading part, maybe I will spray some just for that reason. Thanks as always

You definitely want some under the bottoms of the front fenders because they will prevent rock dings in the fenders.
