Do underdrive pulley's have a smaller drive pulley(crank) and larger driven pulleys(alt&water pump)? My moron of a cousin said that they are all smaller, causing the belt to not have to turn the accesories as hard. That just doesn't sound right to me. Should I be looking for other family members to talk to?
Also, does anyone know the pulley size for a factory alternator?
Thanks
-Eddie

Yes, crank pulley is smaller in diameter. The altenator and water pump pulleys are larger in diameter, causing them to sping slower and free up power.
