Personally, for non-centrifugal superchargers, I like the Kenne Bell twin screw. It does require you to convert to an EFI but if you haven't done it yet, you can absorb some of the cost of the conversion since the KB kit includes many of the parts you would need anyway. The KB supercharger is not a wipple type supercharger (such as the Eaton and Holley). There is a good explination on the differences between the two on the Kenne Bell website. Here is the article. Additional details can be found here.

If you stay carburated, you can go for the Holley, but I doubt you can fit it under a stock hood.

If you want to keep it under the hood, your other choice is Paxton or Vortec which are both centrifugal superchargers. Each have special casings that pressurize the entire carburator. Vortec has carb versions for Chevy but I have not seen a kit yet for Fords. I'd give them a call to see where they are in development if you are interested.

I do not care about keeping it under the hood

Where can you purchase a 174 Powercharger for the 302?

Click here to search on ebay. You will have to call Jegs or Summit. They have tons of Chevy stuff listed in their catalogs, they just don't list the Ford Weiand blowers.
