well, this is the under side of the stang. as you can see the exhaust did need to be widened for the aod. you can see the new aod/rack and new exhaust.

i have a new aod swap page for my site, the best on yet, but for some reason i can't publish right now so when i figure out whats up, i'll post a link for those interested.

after a full week of driving the hell out of the car, i like! i put it on the rack to check everything out last saturday and aside from 1 leak, everything is good to go.

OK, now see how short the black exposed housing is extending under the spring on the Tranny end? Compare that to yours, mine was much longer and when it's too long it will limit the amount of travel the arm can make. I trimmed nearly 2" off and it still does not look like that picture from the Lokar site.

I just got my TV gauge hooked up, I'm going to run a test before putting the adapter on and then messing with a heim joint. The Demon throttle area is not identical to the Holley (it's closer to the carb and swings a little differently, with linkage holes in diff spots).

I'm thinking of actually testing things before throwing more parts at it (contrary to my usual approach).
