I ended up going with Unlimited Products for my hood, due to the size that they had avalible. With the 351, super victor intake and extreem velocity carb hat, my motor sits fairly high. I picked up their 4 3/4in cowel hood. The fitment was PERFECT, the top part of the hood is excellent. Then underside is ganna be some fairly serious work. I know most aftermarket hoods are work, but damn.. Im ganna clean it up best i can, but im sure it wont be perfect, because im sure my patience will run out. The packing of the hood was Excellent as well. So, if you want a good fitting product, i say yes. But you will need to finish the bottom.

Well, ended up after sanding, adding more resign on the bottom of the hood, sanding, priming, painting.. blah blah..... Hood looks great on top, decent on bottom. Fitment was a BEHATCH!!! after i went to bolt it to the car. So i dont know if its my car or the hood. But its as good as its going to get. SO, I dont know. Good, but not great...

They are nice. Got them for my 67 which has been on hold for some time. They are 12in wide with 3.5in of back space. I am guessing I will have to take a good 7in off ea side on mine lol. Got anymore pics of the car ?

I will have some more pics soon.. Im just waiting for the rain to stop, so i can take it somewhere nicer then in front of my house.

I'd like to jump to a 12in wide wheel, but not sure yet. The 325 M/T radial is calling my name, but i cant come close to fitting it with the mini tub. so id have to move some suspension around. And at this point, i just want to drive it. So ill see what this year bring. Im pretty sure some day, the car will get a full tube chassis so i can slam it, and really start haulin ass. But like i said, i just want to drive it at this point. The V1 S Trim with Big Red makes a hell of a noise. So it gets a lot of attention..lol

Ill get some close ups probably either later this week, or next. Well, it uses number 6 machine screws to attach to the trunk. I think in the nieghborhood of 12-14 screws. So if you dont want to drill your out of luck. lol And then they have a 2 and 4 strut option.. which is a must.
