Well thanks guys...the fan shroud is now just a fraction the size it was, you could call it a cover plate now. Aside from a few spacers via large diameter vac hoses everything is pretty much as was. Nice thing about cutting down the shroud to fit is I get to reuse the original top bolt hole for the overflow..and the second hole will be bolted to the taurus shroud securly to avoid any vibration and damage to the original shroud. The fan has the ford three spade conector in place which will tuck away nicely and allow me to keep the wires out of sight all together. I found that by turning the fan 180 degree that the pigtale was down and away and the largest portion of the taurus shroud was perfectly placed then to accomodate the coolant resevoir.
Jt the car will likely be down and out while I wait for the controler..which is OK cause my vacation is almost over and the finishing touches will take some time.
