Looks good! Is that aluminum tubing or just polished steel?

Oh thats cool. I just saw your intake to the turbo pointing to the ground and thought you might be going a different direction, maybe MAF or something. I wouldnt mind doing the MAF thing just so I could run a BOV without issue but the little car runs so damn good with the VAM Im afraid to mess with it.

No you can run a BOV. But if you run the VAM before the turbo like it is from the factory there are usually some drivability issues. Rich spikes between shifts, engine shutting down after boosting, and possible idle issues.
Now if you run the VAM as a blow through you can avoid all these issues but you have to do a fair amount of tuning of the VAM to make it all right.
I have been thinking of doing a BOV for a long time and even have one laying around if I ever get around to doing it. But the car runs so well right now I just dont know if I wanna screw with it.

Sorry I didnt get back to you. To make your VAM a blowthrough you basically get it all situated where it works best and you can access it and then crack it open. Inside there is a little clicker wheel that you adjust to make her run good. I highly recommend doing this on a dyno because you will be tuning for a/f as well as drivability.
BTW, have you ever visited Turboford.org? Lots of good info on there about the 2.3T.
