upgrade granada calipers?

Are there any upgrades for a granada caliper? I mean, any direct bolt on multi-piston caliper for a granada spindle?

Direct no but a PBR aluminum caliper can be added not to hard.

Seriously, i havent heard of them. Who are they and what does it take to put them on?

PBR dual piston calipers come on 99 and up mustang.

Can be had for about 100 a pair.

Cool info on the calipers. However....what needs to be done to make these puppies fit on there? welding? grinding? fabrication?

A homemade bracket much like that one used when installing 11" granada rotors on a mustang II suspension using gm calipers.

If I remember right it's not that difficult to do.

Just some patience.

There was a web page that explained it but it seems like has dissapered.

No problem guys. They're very easy to make I've already have 5 sets made for both Stangs, the 69 Falcon wagon, the 64 Falcon sedan, and a spare for whatever I might pick up next Wonder if the could be adapted to the 62 Econoline van I need to thin the herd a little

Maybe....... I'll let you know tomorrow. I just got a phone call on a 65 Falcon 4-dr I tried to buy a couple months ago. I think she's ready to sell . I've been looking for an old car for my step daughter for a while now and she's into old Fords, I might have had something to do with that I don't know . If I buy this thing I'll need the last set.

or how about posting some pics of them. I can follow the drawings, but its always nice to have a few snap shots. I dont understand what gets welded. I see the weld symbols, but.....then I get lost. I also dont know what the threaded piece of round stock is for.
