Hey my Trickflow stage 1 cam got eaten up. Time for a rebuild. Here is what i'm thinking ....

347 short block about 9.8 -1
Trick flow 170 cc heads 60cc chambers (want these part of the combo)
Rest of Track Heat parts and supporting mods
80mm maf
75 mm tb
255 lph fuel pump
3.73 gears

Question is what cam is best and what kind and spec of pistons should i run with?
The car has a 125 shot of nitrous as is, would like to keep as well.

Would a stage 2 cam work well and what do you believe power and rpms would be thanks?

Custom cam, worth every extra penny of the $200 more dollars you'll spend (if even that much).

If you want to use those heads on a 347, I would have them cnc'ed. I think TEA specializes in them.

RPM II intake

The TFS 190cc FAC heads would be a better choice for a 347 together with the TFS R intake and a custom cam.

I agree I should step up to a larger head but I need to keep the track heat heads and intakes for budget reasons. Custom cam then sounds like the right way to go. With a custom cam and added cubes what kinds of gains should I see above the 360 that the kit advertises?!

You do not need larger heads. You can easily make over 400 to the tire with unported TW heads. You just need the right cam, manifold and supporting stuff. If budget permits, then go ahead and get the larger tfs heads, but out of the box they can make good power. The track heat stuff doesn't belong on a 347.

Go with higher compression 10.5-11:1, victor efi intake, custom cam and valve springs, 1 3/4" exhaust
