I feel you man, speaking of the alternator, I just put in a new battery and the meter is still reading in the red. Could it be the alternator?

It could be. Does your car have an electric fan or subs?

You need to get a volt meter and check the output voltage of the alternator. Make sure the car is charging. I ran 2 amps and a 10 inch sub all old school class a/b stuff on a fox alternator and never had it dip into the red so something is up. Also look into the 94/95 3g alternator upgrade as well as using a 4 ga power wire with it. If this car is your daily driver keep it simple. Get it reliable do gears, exhaust, Subframe connectors, torque box reinforcements and rear upper and lower control arms to start with. If HCI is in your future plan wisely as the car will be down a day or 2 to complete the job so make sure you have all parts necessary to get the job done .

Alphabet cams do work but are not my first choice. TFS 1 is a nice street car cam as well as the anderson grinds. It all depends on how radical you want to get . One day its stock then before you know it its a 600hp car then in the blink of an eye its a 1000hp car. Its all about money , your goals and whats practical for you .

It's an old car could need a lot of maintenance repairs, mine did. Check u joints, see if both wheels spin, clutches may be tired in LSD. Weld in frame stiffeners and strut tower brace, foxes flex alot. Front end parts, ball joints, tie rod ends etc... Would not worry about rear control arms, MM panhard bar helps with foxes snap oversteer. Springs and shocks could be tired, economy set at LMR with lowering springs and matching KYB shocks and caster camber plates and offset poly rack bushings worked pretty good on mine for the price. You can get GT40p heads and intake from pull a part explorer for $150, must upgrade valve springs. E cam works ok still quite streetable and I like the mid range torque.
