I am looking to redo the upholstory in the stang. I would really like to do a custom job. After asking the pastor at church who is an upholsterer. He says he can order the vinyl for me at $30 a sqaure yard.

About how many yards would I need to do the two front seats and the back seat for a '73 coupe?

If it worth it I'll go custom job, If not i'll just order the kit from somewhere else. It's like $300 bucks for front and back seats.

What look are you planning to go for. If you really want a nice modern look, why not buy some late model seats, Any mustang seats will fit with very little modification(i hope somone can verify this). Also, Mustangs Plus has Procar seats, wihch are classic looking with very deep wells and a nice feel to them.

once again, what kinda look are you going for?

Well I dont want anything to fancy. I currently have a custom seats but they are pretty much torn up. They are kind of like the Deluxe version only they have ginger leather on the sides and black and ginger/tan fabric down the centers. really nice looking only they are worn to shreds.

I would like to stick with the ginger sides only with vinyl(cant afford leather). Then either go with a fabric that has alot of black going down the center.

Or Stick with ginger sides and create a design with black vinyl and ginger in the center. Like two thick black stripes going either vertically or horizontally. or some other design.

I'll try and draw some ideas up.
