I was bored yesterday & decided to make sure my header nuts were nice & tight. got about 1/8 to 1/4 turn avg. out of them.

Seeing as I had my 1/4" drive ratchet with the 8mm socket in my hand (from removing & reinstalling the stock intake tube), I decided to check the upper intake bolts.

On the front 4 and rear 4, I got about 1/8 turn, then a 'snap', then another 1/2 to 3/4 turn before tight (at least, before I deemed them tight enough). Keep in mind---this is with a tiny 1/4" drive Craftsman ratchet & using only wrist power.

On the middle 4, I couldn't turn them at all.

Is this normal......I mean, is it normal for the front & rear 4 to be loose, AND what's that snapping I heard (the bolts did not break)?
