i was just looking on ebay and realized there were atleast 2 different plates for the upper intake. the ones i saw you would read from the fender of the car. mine when you open the hood reads "5.0 HO".
i hope this makes sense. i cant think of a more technical way to put it.

I am somewhat confused by your posting, but I think I understand. It is good yours says 5.0 HO as that means you have the high output engine, as all mustangs should. The non ho's came in like the thunderbirds and trucks and what not....
I see. That is a non stock and for show intake plate. It is a matter of preference, but I would prefer the stocker over that one. There are much more than 2 out there, but again its just a matter of preference. The best move is to get a completely different intake anyways...
