i have a 98 gt and after christmas i am going to get the mods in the title. for the people with these mods, how did you like them? i also have a PI intake on my car with the adaptor plates. on partshopper MAC has their upper with TB (70mm or 75) and straight shot intake, for 435 bucks i think it was. is it worth the money? i read the mod survey thread but i want a more updated opinion. maybe someone that has some dyno numbers or track numbers, and if im lucky numbers from a 96-98 gt with a PI intake. thanks.

i wouldn't do it again
i'd save it to a bigger mod like gears, cams or LTs

I haven't had a chance to go back to the track with my setup but you can take a look at my sig to see dyno numbers and mods. I am getting ready to do a C&L Upper, MAC longtubes, shorty off-road H or prochamber, and some different muffs. I am going to be starting the new motor buildup to go 300+ rwhp on non-PI heads N/A.

For the Dragon plenum/TB here's what we got:
[ur]http://www.stangpro.com/html/articles/dragon.htm[/url]

That car has a Tunable Induction fenderwell kit now, which I'm estimating gives us a solid 20hp so far. Dyno test was supposed to be today for the CAI, but the car's owner got called into work.

i already have gears, i want LT's but dont want to pull them off to change a clutch or pull my tranny. and to be honest i dont yet have the mechanical inclination to install cams, and i have bad luck with shops around here. (long story) ill wait til after christmas and see what i can afford. i have discovered i really need a tune after the intake. any guesses on how much that might get me? and where the best place to get a chip or tune from? thanks

I would get with the guys at SCT and find out when they are going to do a dyno tune session around your area and have them do your tune but I would make sure that you have all of the stuff you want on before you have it tuned. How do you like your 3.90's? Do you wish you would have went 4.10s?

im pretty happy with the gears. i sometimes wish i actaully would have gone with 3.73's. the reason i went with 3.90's is because i didnt want to get 4.10's and not like them or get 3.73's and not like them. so i just went for the middle gear. does SCT have a website or anything. BTW, i like the link in your sig. lotta good threads there. thanks.

Upper & TB

I recently bought the Accufab upper plenum and 75 mm TB from a guy on ebay. The item number was 7926150441 (I'm not sure if you can view it, but I still can). I paid $385 for the polished upper plenum and TB. It is well worth it! It adds tons of "pedal" feel and great responsiveness. The seller was great, it came fast and was sealed from Accufab. Great transaction. I works so well with the Mass Air Sensor and the Cold Air Intake. Do it!

Check these out:

After reading these, I'll say that my best HP/Dollar mod was my exhaust.

With LTs/OffroadX/Magnaflow, Steeda UD pullies, Accufab plenum/75mm TB, and Accel Kool Blue filter, I was at 272/310 at the rear.
