upr billet a/c plate

How do you attach the billet a/c faceplate? I got the slim line knobs like it said but it seen to clear the thickness of the plate. Has anyone done this? If so how did it go on and what needed to be done to make it fit?

I had one in my 95 GT, and I had to remove the knobs and pull the plastic bezel about halfway off, and it just set right down into spot, and put the a/c knobs and everything back on.

You def. need to remove the a/c knobs. Those are easy, they just pull off. And as far as I know, the new faceplate should just fit in where the old one is. Then as said above pop the a/c knobs back on.
