I own a 2001 mustang bullitt. I already have a upr o/r xpipe installed with an slp lm1 cat back. This however is way to loud. Im am looking into getting either the slp power-flow or the slp lm2. I still want to have that crackling sound but I want the car to be quite a bit quieter. I just want to know if anyone else has the same problem with the loudness of the lm1 with the xpipe or if anyone has the lm2 or power-flow and how those two sound with an o/r xpipe. Also will the slp power-flows still have the crackling sound?

I had a Pypes O/R X and SLP LM1 way too loud. Sold the SLP and bought a Magnaflow Catback, way better

I have had all 3 SLP mufflers with and o/r x pipe.

LM1 = annoyingly loud. Does not sound good at all.

LM2(current setup) = a bit quiter than the 1s but a lot more tone to them. Sound really aggressive. Loud enough imo

PowerFlo = Sound really good. Not as loud as the 1s or 2s but have a nice deep tone to them.

When I had the powerflos, they were not loud enough for me so switched to the 2s. If you still want them loud, go with the 2s. You won't regret it.

I have had Magnapacks, Borla, and Bassani. Bassani is the best mustang exhaust I have ever heard. Its awesome, fairly quiet at normal cruising but sweet at wot.

Worth every penny imo. For what its worth I wasnt too impressed with the magnapacks.

1 - Bassani
2 - Borla Stingers
3 - Magnapacks

i wasnt too impressed with the magnapacks. The LM1 sounds great without the mid pipe. wasnt the LM2 specifically designed for a midpipe to be used also?
