I just purchased a used upr o/r x pipe it came off a 2004 gt and I put it on a 2003 gt and it doesn't line up quite right, it isn't up close to the car as it should be and it also has a slight leak. I was told it was the same pipe to fit a 2003, but on the upr website they list a different part number for the 04 as opposed to the 03. I also was told it didn't come with a gasket when it was purchased new. I have it I should use one on the passenger side, if so does anyone know a part number and where to get one. I also was told it was a good idea to change the manifold studs on the driver side to ones that don't have a shoulder, does anyone have any info on the part number and where to get them.

The 99-04 X pipes are indentical the only difference between the 7000-99 and 7000-04 part numbers is that we include a set of O2 harness extensions because in 04 they moved them and you need the extensions to fit the new X-pipe.

It's not bad, but if real problem shows up you won't see it. I drove a week with it on before my o2 mil elims came in.

my UPR hangs lower than my stock one did and it is a little left in the sump than the stock so it bacgs from time to time on the tranny crossmember. but other than that i love it. mine did no come with the gasket but i have no leak and i did not need the new studs, but i have 96.
