Well i got it yesterday from UPR Products and put it on tonight (Fri night) and let me tell you wow i am thouroughly impressed. I got it for the sound, and 2nd power. The sound is incredible with my Magnaflows. Best sounding exhaust ive heard! Deeper, racier and just plain nasty when you want it to be, bu yet practically stock otherwise. I defn recommend this for anybody look for awesome sound and a noticeable increase in power. The power increase isnt like gears is, but you know its there. I give this one a 10 especially with $150 price tag!

Yea, it's cheap and LOUD as crap.

It gave me some pretty favorable gains when coupled with Magnapacks (straight through) and K&N FIPK.

I'm not the biggest fan of the sound, it's pretty raspy down low but it performs VERY well.

BTW - What did you do with the extra funnel metal piece that comes with it?

Funny you should post this because I had one installed today on my 01 GT. Had a Bassani X-pipe with cats on it with FRP shorties and Dynomx Race Bullets welded into the stock pipes. Well, got a UPR X-pipe just for kicks and let me tell you that this thing is loud as hell now with the Race bullet mufflers when you get on it. Just the sound that I was looking for since I had Flows with a Prochamber and even though the sound was nice, it sounded like every other Mustang. Now it is different. Wicked when you get on it. Now I found out that I have to rebuild my rear end. Has 3.73's in it but now I guess that I will sneak some 4.10's in it for kicks since I have to replace everything anyway....

How does your magnaflows sound with your x. I was thinking about changing my mufflers to magnaflows or something straight thru. I like my sound, but I'm wondering how much difference the sound is with a straight thru muffler?

I found the metal piece that came with it after I had installed it so I left it out. I am not aware of any leaks and there doesent seem to be a problem so I am going to leave it the way it is. Has anyone else just left it out?
