id stay away from an all aluminum intake

Which cold air kit should I get then? Any reccomendations?

k&n and rip that stupid silencer out beats paying for one and you can just use the money for something else

how do i take the silencer out?

its the big rubber piece thats on the inside of the fender. if i remember correctly you just pull the whole filter housing off, the air silencer comes out with the housing and you just take it off and re-attach

just did it 20 minutes ago. It took me all of 6 min. Unbolt the air box housing with the one bolt that holds it, flip the clamp that holds the air box and filter on, yank up and the whole thing comes out, pull the air silencer off, reinstall. It wont take longer than a few minutes.
