Anyone have sound clips of a UPR X with flows? I hear it actually sounds really good for an X pipe and barely rasps at all.... never found a sound or video clip though.

I don't have a clip, but from my experience, I actually like it. I run the same setup you described. It's loud, extremely loud at 2 grand, but quiets out going past 2500, then the engine takes over. I've gotten nothing but compliments about how good it sounds. Makes me proud. When I start it up in the morning, I can feel the rumble on the ground from 10 feet away. It's a keeper....

A buddy has o/r x and flowmaster catback on his 00' and it sounds wicked.
I may switch.
At idle and at low rpms his sounds better. And up top mine sounds louder.

Awesome, so how does it sound inside with the UPR? Do you hear any rasp? I drove a car with flows and an X once and the tone was killer but damn, when you got on it it made this LOUD metallic scratching type sound, it was louder than the exhaust note. The thing is I don't know what type of X it was, might have been chambered.

I have a soundclip of my car on a tape...but I can't get in on the computer. I have UPR offroad X pipe with 2 chamber flows and it sounds AWESOME. No rasp at all, extremely deep sounding for an X pipe, and wakes up the neighbors everytime i come and go. I get compliments ALL the time.

I've been looking into buying one because the price cant be beat! When delivered did it come with all the necessary parts? Also I dont plan on installing it myself as I dont have any tools here at college, but how much would you guestimate that it would cost to be put on at a local exhaust shop? Thanks!

I will try to get some sound clips up tonight. I have all the tools to put sound clips up quickly.

If you have it installed it should be under $100. The install is simple for someone at a local exhaust shop that has a lift. It wouldn't even take them an hour. All the parts are included with the pipe.

I have this midpipe with MAC Stainless Flowpaths and let me tell you it is loud. It is a very good sounding pipe even with factoy mufflers but when I put the MAC Flowpaths on it made it LOUD. There is no drone and it doesn't sound too raspy.

id love to hear this setup! I would hope the install would be cheap as it doesnt seem like there is too much to it..I just dont have the necessary equip. to do it myself.

Installs are usually pretty cheap, i got my prochamber installed for $4o. The tone of the PC is killer but it is too quiet for my tastes... which is why ive considered the UPR

Mine does make a rasp, but I have an automatic, and the ratios are weird. It's very anxious to get into 4th gear before it uses 3rd up, so when the rpms are low, I would say yes, it is raspy. It's like turbos mounted right in front of the mufflers, and some dumbass might mistake it for that. But like I said, it's a keeper.....and it's loud when the engine is cold. When you get it done, stand in the back of the car and get a good whiff of exhaust. Oh BTW, your exhaust WILL smell different but that's normal because (?!) no CATS!!!

if you can find a shop good enough to cut the upr and fab it up to the L/Ts, then yes

I have an SLP x-pipe with cats and Flows ...I love it ...I keep hearing "H for sound, X for performance" This is BS ...X-pipes paired with Flows give an even cleaner sound and a racier sound under acceleration. There is some rasp with the o/r pipe ...cats help clean it out. Another thing is - people not being pleased with the sound of an X probably aren't listening to their cars from the outside ...Mine sounds good inside, but outside is where it sounds the best.

X for sound, X for performance

Yes, you will.

Make them yourself though, costs 5 bucks instead of 60+

What does it entail? I'm pretty much new to doing mods myself so if I were to go the route of buying the eliminators..do exhaust shops install those as well?
