Well what I want to know is there any things I should look for over the usual things to check.. I dont know much about FI cars .. So any pointers will be helpful.. It just seems so many GT 500 and other cars that COME with superchargers out there in my price range I might start looking at them ..

Make sure there is consistent power, ie no clutch or belt slippage, no gear or trans whine. No oil leaks from blower casing and make sure it's quiet no "crunching" type noises.

FYI, Vortech and Paxton centrifugal blowers make a "normal" crunching type noise at idle. Has to do with how the gears are cut, apparently.

FI 4.6 cars are great but if your looking at any GTs that were later supercharged just remember that the HP should stay below 500 after that you'll bend rods on a stock engine. watch the boost you want keep it around 8psi to keep it safe. you should check out the set ups from Tillman Speed.
