I bought a 2.5 qt universal reservoir from auto zone and getting ready to install it. On the OEM reservoir there is a sensor, what do I do about the sensor? If I leave it unplug the coolant light will stay on. For those who have installed a different reservoir what did you do with the sensor?

Pretty sure you can just jumper the pin.

I made one and kept the OEM sensor.

Some guys have been able to retrofit the sensor to the windshield washer reservoir's neck, and then use the washer reservoir as a coolant overflow.

Good luck.

Also on the reservoir to connect the overflow hose, there are 2 nipples one on top by the cap and one on the bottom. Which nipple do I use to connect the overflow hose? Do I use the bottom one and plug the top one? Or do I use the top one and plug the bottom one?
