Hey guys. I'm selling my 02 GT and I probably dont want to go through the hassle of buying ANOTHER Xcal2, so i think I'm going to keep it. I wanted to know what I have to do (if at all possible) to use this Xcal2 that I have on a new mustang that I get.

I'm looking at getting an 04 Cobra. So i know I have to "revert to stock tune" on my 02 GT. And then when I get the cobra, I know i have to get the DME code.

But is it possible to have SCT retune my Xcal to a new engine/car? Or do I really have to buy a seperate one...

In my own .02, i can not believe that you are selling your car. I personally love the look of your car(even more when you had those white stripes, it looked alot different then what everyone else has). I would really think about it lol. Well what ever you do good luck with your selling

Try this website...www.sctflash.com. (check the forums)

And yes, I think that SCT can reprogram your tuner to work with your new car.

Thanks a lot man I've decided I need to sell the car to pay off my ridiculous outstanding credit card debt And use the remaining money to buy myself a 2004 Cobra. Basically im replacing my credit card payments monthly with cobra payments, but im telling myself its worth it

Just dont drive the Cobra, keep it relatively stock and let the car appreciate...just like making an investment...
