I recently got a superchip and asked them take the governer (speed limiter) off. I've been wondering about top speed in these cars.
On my way home last night, i hit about 120 in 4th gear,and had the Tach in about the mid 4k range. These ccars seem like they could hit 140-150 pretty easily.
My question is, Has anyone auctually tried it? I'm a bit nervous about doing it myself, because i recall hearing that our stock BFGoodrich tires are only rated to 118 or something like that. I really have no desire to have the tires separate while i'm going that fast.
Anyone with Better shoes on their pony hit their top speed yet?
