V-8 swap

1993 2.3 ( Non-Turbo) very wore out! I would like a V-8 I don't need a ton of power so I am thinking of a 302. How hard is it to convert to a 302? I have the factory five speed.

well i did my share of that, u can use the 4 cylinder tranny, but u need the clutch. everything else, needs to come from a v8. Its not that hard, just find u a good doner car. and then, just put on what you take off. And if ur interested, I have a 351W up for grabs.

why even bother with a V8?

my mostly stock untuned 2.3T smoked the same year GT

it has as much hp as a V8 and as much tq as a bolt-on V8, thats how it sits now....it will have more

plus it gets great mileage and cheap insurance!

i used to have a 2.9 ranger, now all i have is 3 2.3T cars, i have contacts that can get me a 2.9 cossie with the complete swap package for $1700 shipped to my door

wiring would be a female dog going from a scorpio to a ranger tho, oh well, it shall be done

i did the swap.. it easy as long as u have a complete donor car
