I am thinking about putting a newer permanent magnet starter in my 65 galaxie with a 302 that has a manual trans but the local junkyards do not have any 5.0s with a manual trans so does anyone know if the V6 starter is the same as a V8 as I think there are a couple V6 5 speeds in there.
